I have had a few friends in my life with MS and I can't say that being super skinny was a major symptom....nor being dumb as a stump, but heck, I'm not a doctor so what do I know ;oP I love the SS said it can't happen...maybe they need to read or watch the news? LOL I would love to be on a HW show. I'm picturing my life as I sit now...I'm in a paint stained shirt with dirty jeans on (gardening and painting while DS was at school) but I do have on a lovely pair of ruby ear rings :oP DS is out in the center hall of (what they would picture as a fabulous mansion on a HW episode) our old victorian and has just had a major 3 car pile up....This means the mansion is full of torn up cardboard as his cars were all boxes... HE's wearing a paint stained pair of designer jeans, a bat man tee shirt (with paint...what do they do at kindergarten? Dip them in paint) and skull and heart boots while screaming at the top of his lungs for an amballance (spelled as he says it). The dog just barfed up the dinner he stole from the cat...the cat is whining about his lack of dinner (I'll refeed him) and there is a herd of deer in the back 40 pooping all over the yard (this housewife will soon be chasing them out with a hose). Ahhh the romance of the real world....it would be quite a show :oP Anyone else want to be on it? heh heh

I opened a Facebook account right before I went to Oxford in 2009. I wanted a way to upload photos to something other thn photobucket (which i just hate to use, hadnt found smugmug yet) and be able to communicate with my immediate family. I started getting friend requests from people I knew and accepted them--- and soon I had about 75 people looking at my photos, remarking, innundating me with absurd and often untrue details about their personal life. Well.... Lets just say there are very few people I want to know that well, and I defriended all but the original seven. I haven't put anything on it (status changes) except pictures of trips because it is easier for a few of them to view them on fb than another site. Mainly because fb comes to them--- extraordinarily passive way of living ones life, among other things. I see many older people who use fb to try to project a public life that is painfully at odds with what is actually happening. I see younger people who can't go out and have a good time unless they have pictures on Facebook to prove they did. There's a tremendous amount of over sharing, it's sort of like a conversation between two people who are not listening to the other because they're so busy planning what to say next. I don't think that fb is evil, or necessarily stupid, but it can rob you of any vestige of privacy, a commodity that, once lost is difficult to reestablish. Several years ago our family went to Miami beach for Thanksgiving and unbeknownst to me I was logged into fb. It announced what hotel I was staying at, and I got comments from people about their experiences at it ! This was during a time when they changed the terms of their agreement with account holders and required an active opt out. Even with that there were problems, and after a hue and cry they expanded personal control of the accounts. I think twitter is a complete waste of time and an incredible conceit that anyone would actually think his/her tweets are worth "following." I turned 57 a few days ago and somewhere along the line seem to have become a curmudgeon!

OK ladies...I need some help here. I am not married, but have been in a relationship for 14 months and we live together. I have had a problem in the past of sending suggestive messages to women online. Recently I sent a message to a girl I knew from a bar that I used to go to alot. Haven't seen this girl in probably 2 years or more maybe and were just friends and not very good friends at that. One day while she was away with her daughter at a gymnastics meet, I sent a suggestive message...which was never answered...My GF has looked through my phone on several occasions looking at who I talk to (when we first started seeing each other I was chatting with an old friend I hadnt seen for 20 years...I was very wrong in what I did there and it stopped well before she ever found it on my phone) I have messaged friends and said things that she thought suggestive and I should have worded my responses better. for instance, a friend was at a bar drinking and instead of saying as she says, I am with mhy GF I can't, I said wish I cold join you, but maybe another time. I honestly didnt mean anything by that as we had only been friends and that was it. another instance was I am in fantasy football and one of my leagues there is a girl, a friend for over 2 years and she has been seeing a friend of mine. she was new to the sport last few years and often texted me for advice. Once week while I was going to play versus her team, I reponded 'I'm gonna eat you up" - I am a former semi pro footbal player and that's just how trash talk goes...meant nothing suggestive at all...in hindsight, I now see that maybe my responses could have been much different. the message the day of the gymnastics meet was back in October...I haven't done anything since then but she still constantly monitors my facebook messaging. I honestly have not been chatting with anyone at all. I rarely even get on there at all. she see my messnger getting logged into and will send me messages to see if I will respond. sometimes I never get them because I am not even on there, or I will get them much later and respond to her. I just thought that my chat being logged in on FB was the reason. come to find out it is the Messenger App that has always been logged into on my conmputer and on my phone....I NEVER use it..but because of the thing last Oct...she doesnt believe anything I say and is even questioning a long lunch I had with my boss where we we drinking...which is what I told her I was doing. Please, please what can I do...she is going to leave me and she is newly pregnant with my child and I love her so much..I need help to try and get her to let me back in and re-gain her trust.. I am just lost and so sorry for all I have done wrong to her. but I really do love her and want to Marry her. I have been true to her 100% except the messages I spoke of and maybe a few others that I unintentionally said the wrong thing.... HELP!!!

Back at you, Jakabedy! Roll Tide & Rammer Jammer!!! Yes, let's hope we do well this weekend in the Iron Bowl (always tough, and especially at the Plains), and then with the Gators. Who knew we'd make it this far this season, but the defense has been so awesome and so has Derrick Henry. Ditto the vote! Funny thing, I have close relative in So Carolina who are huge Clemson fans, so we are worried we'll be at 'war' soon. I told them I'd still love them.... And yes, congrats to you both, Faron and nhbaskets! Good luck in your playoffs!
