Please post pix of older wellused induction-how does top hold up?
Comments (3)The glass cooktop does not get as hot as your old electric range - you have to scrub to remove burned on food with the unit you have. The induction glass does not get as hot, only the pan gets super hot, so food does not burn onto the cook top. All you have to do is wipe it clean with a soapy cloth. I often wipe the cook top right in the middle of cooking, as the top is hot but not as hot as an electric coil or a gas burner would be. Occasionally I take a bit of glass cook top cleaner and gently wipe it. Honestly I've never had any food stick to the cooktop....See MoreYeah!!!!!! Thanks to the discussion on having to scroll and scroll..
Comments (0)I now have the option to post photo in first comment. I changed my web address from houzz.com to garden web.com.However, the amount that I wrote in the opening comment was the full amount allowed. It even counted down to zero. Also a bit harder to manage on a smart phone.I hope I can now do searches on topics again and a few other things that I haven't worked for me after the big update. If you're having trouble with anything regarding the updated Houzz / Garden Web site check out the "Trouble accessing older posts" started yesterday by Rebecca N. (Thanks Rebecca!).You will notice that there is no - {ONE FIX SOLUTION, but some sharing of what works for them, what hasn't worked, etc. IT DIDN'T PUT MY PHOTO IN! :-(...See MoreAnyone having trouble posting with pictures?
Comments (16)well, I have been trying some things.......Jon has said cropping helps. So now I take my photos with my iPad, go to edit and change the orientation or size a bit, even though the actual photo in terms of pixels is no different (?), and then they post properly. Houzz———a bit , well, whatever......:-(...See MoreDoes anybody else have trouble posting long sentences .
Comments (13)Hi Lulu, it sounds like I have the same problem as you when typing a reply etc. The sentences stall and then come in after a few seconds, not as you are typing. I have just accepted that this is a glitch between me, Houzz and the old Gardenweb and I put up with it. At least I can get into Cooking as there was a time when I couldn’t. I use my phone IPhone, and it doesn’t happen anywhere else. What I now do because the glitch drives me mad and is so sensitive that I lose what I’m typing at the slightest thing like an incoming text... I now type my reply in the Notes section of my IPhone, Copy it and Paste it into Cooking....See MoreRebecca/N. IN/z6A
