My sofa is here! I need help with accent chairs/pillows please!
Comments (28)I like the blue in the room better than the browns in the last edition of pictures. The blue cleans it up a bit more. Both chairs are pretty colors. Could you add some navy in addition to the more muted colors that you like. Or maybe a very light soft blue/turquoise grey. The TV images are adding color to the room that may be distracting my evaluation, lol....See MoreAccent colour that goes well with BM's Edgecomb Gray living room?
Comments (9)Yes, red is fine. But in my opinion the more concealed red is better than the splashy one, especially in a room this size. Make the red preferably in small accents as in: a pillow in a neutral colour with some red in it. Or like a green plant that blooms with red flowers. Variations of the same tones of red in more or less density is more lively than all the exact same tone. Besides that: such a red combines lovely with yellow. So if you do feel tempted to use yellow again, it would bring unity to the house. Both teal and turquoise are good possibilities too, but in such a small room I would rather go for the teal. Since teal is a less invasive colour, you can allow yourself more of it. Perhaps with a tiny streak of turquoise here and there in a picture or candle or whatever. Once again: teal goes well with yellow. The turquoise not so much though in my opinion. Do not become too bold. Curtains are very big. Neutral ones would fit in here better as to not dominate the room. You really think you need curtains though? Might make the room feel crowded....See Morewhat goes to the left of the sofa?
Comments (82)sternl2001 Thanks for the pic! Yes, now I see.... you can choose another color for a side table. How about a light soft gray? Washed gray? Gray in rug and on walls? Comments (8)are the floors down? the room painted? send a picture of the room. we don't know what your style is, or what the layout is going to be. you can't just pick our furniture on color I like the sofa. you need a nice neutral area rug though. you like any of these? this one is a bit more rustic boho: maybe a bit more modern/classic a bit mcm boho Lighter cream chairs, cooler color elements (rug/pillows) with the charcoal jute rug, you could bring in some of the elements in the next few pics the black w/the leather always looks good this one has darker walls, but it has the black light, metal leg wood table, and a charcoal/gray area rug blues always look nice w/the leather if it's more of a bluish gray, you could go this direction this is also a nice alternative. leather chairs/pouf/pillow/soft gray/white sofa/rug, and warm wood console for the tv or whatever. if you already have the sofa, you could do just about any color for your accent. here they did a nice sage-ish green and a jute rug...See More- 5 years ago
