Need ideas for empty space in rental
Comments (2)If the FP is not wood burning, cut logs to fit and treat them for insects. If your FP burns wood then don't treat them and plan to use....See MoreIdeas welcome! Large empty exterior wall space.
Comments (1)Trellises. I like these. They look neat and strong, you can use the number you want and space them out as you want. Take local advice on what to grow on them. http://www.gardenmetalwork.com/Trellis.htm...See MoreEmpty wall/floor space - any ideas??
Comments (8)I'd say for furniture you'd want something that is solid on the bottom --like a chest rather than a bench. But maybe Lil S' idea about a plant on a round thing (IDK mat/base) ... On the other hand, does that silder get used for something? Like, if it went out to the pool and you needed to keep a key or something there maybe a functional wall piece ---mirror and keys --not explaining well....See MoreExterior wall awkwardly empty, need ideas (pics included)
Comments (2)Like the carport idea but would add vertical supports on each side and lift the peak of any forward facing gable roof above what is shown so the peak actually ends between the upstairs windows.. Even if you don't build a carport, you could build a gable shaped mini-roof/overhang against the exterior wall. Alternately, you could continue "overhang" of the roof of the left side of the left side of the house and have it turn so it could both shelter the sidewalk left of the garage and turn again so it can wrap around the front of the garage beneath the two windows. Between the windows, you could add exterior metal art between the upstairs windows. You might consider extending that front sidewalk several more feet and rounding the corner of it at the front left corner of the garage. Not a fan of shutters on your home. When you change the siding, consider not rehanging them....See Morekulrn
