Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures in Shower?
Comments (4)Annesv, I do NOT have ORB fixtures in the shower. But I do have them in the bathroom sink, and elsewhere in the bath. The shower fixtures I wanted did not have ORB as an option. Well, the lavatory faucet, being ORB, shows every bit of soap and toothpaste very white and I suppose that makes it easier to know when to clean it. But it can look pretty ragged. This bath, with only a shower not a tub, is the facility that company uses when someone drops by. So I keep a close eye on its condition. It comes off easily, but it is much more visible on the dark finish than it is on chrome or nickel. I can imagine that a regularly used shower with ORB fixtures would require similar attention....See MoreI snuck in new ligths!

Brass is back in a huge way and you are seeing less and less of the dark bronze look. Adding in a piece or two of brass with the bronze can give you an updated "evolved over time" look....See MoreDo black light fixtures and black clash with oil rubbed bronze pulls?
Comments (5)Hard to say because an oil rubbed bronze finish can look very different when comparing different brands. Some are a nice brown and others can have a coppery look to them that gives them more of a 1980's look, which doesn't look as good....See MoreNatasha Martirosian at Ethan Allen
