Cabinet pulls & Dishwasher appliance pull size?

I'm getting a Bosch panel ready dishwasher, but haven't decided on the exact model yet. I looked at the spec sheet & installation manual, but didn't see any mention of a recommended appliance pull size. Does anyone know what size is required? I'm getting ready to buy cabinet pulls and I want to make sure I buy one that has a matching appliance pull in the correct length. I'm looking at 5" cabinet pulls and they have an 8" & 12" appliance pulls in the finish I need, but not in the larger pulls.

Also, my perimeter cabinets are canvas with cocoa glaze & the island is kaffe (dark brown stain). Should I use different color pulls? I want an oil rubbed bronze on the perimete, but think they'll be too dark on the island. Would you stick with the same color?

I've been told that dishwashers, unlike refrigerators, don't require an appliance pull unless you want that look—just a reasonably sized cabinet pull will do. When the door for our Bosch 800 arrives, we'll be putting a 6" cabinet handle on it.

I am also doing panels for myt refrigerator, dishwasher. I went with a mixture of polished nickel and glass knobs. I did amerock bin pulls and the matching appliance pulls for dishwasher and refrig. I did glass knobs on my glass front cabs and ice box latches on my lower doors and doors above refrig. I think the important thing is for the finish to match. I ordered samples of several knobs, pulls and latches that I liked and then looked at them together to see which looked the most cohesive. Some finishes just don't match even though technically the same. Some of the polished nickel was darker than others. I think you can mix and match but check to see the tones are the same first. Do I really need an appliance pull for a paneled dishwasher?

I used the same 5+" Top Knobs regular pull on my paneled dishdrawers and paneled fridge and 2 freezer drawers that I used on all my cabinet drawers. Been there about 8 years with no problems. Last year the finish on the fridge pull started to wear - I'm ignoring it. I did buy a few extras but have not used them.

If they are sturdy enough, I would use a regular pull. I put the faux pull on the door, but my kitchen is very small and you notice little things. I tried to have a regular pull on the drawer (a finger pull) but it wasnt sturdy enough to open my Miele without really tugging. I was getting a sturdier pull for my paneled fridge, so I used one that matched that.

The pulls Thermador sells for its 36" refrigerators are a few inches shorter than the width of the refrigerator. Thermador MS36HNDL20 Thermador PR36HNDL20 If you look at lots of refrigerator photos, you see that's pretty much the standard and that all the handles are similar in length. They're also much thicker than cabinet handles to open and close heavy doors. -- amateur

I have the same issue, Becky. What size did you wind up using and do you feel it is the right size?

@stuartcas, I went with the 8-13/16" pull. I think it is the perfect size relative to the dishwasher panel and it holds a dish towel nicely. My dishwasher is next to a farm sink, so I'd really regret it if I'd gone for the smaller one since that is the only place to hang a towel near that sink. Had I gone any bigger, I think it would look odd in my kitchen. A longer one might look nice in a modern kitchen though.

For sure a regular cabinet pull can be used on a panel ready DW, no need the waste the money on a appliance pull

We did a 12” on our fully integrated Bosch panel ready
