OT: My Christmas collection
Comments (13)Joyce: You said: "I have collected through the years the Annalee flannel Christmas dolls. I got my first one in the 1970s of Mrs. Claus as she reminded me of my grandmother." My Dad passed away 30 years ago in 1978 at a young age of 56--my Mom died 3 years ago at age 83. Miss them both very much... Anyway, the last Christmas we had with both Mom & Dad & us 5 young kids, in 1977, we gave them the Annalee Santa and Mrs. Claus sitting together on a cute wicker loveseat. We gave it to them right after my Dad played beautiful Christmas carols on his violin. We all sat around the tree with the fireplace burning. The five of us kids, giving a gift of love to our parents--not knowing that would be our last Christmas together. I have that piece today--each year I take it out, the tears just pour out... I set it right next to his violin... ~Mary Jane...See Moreobf ****graphic post*****

I'm going to try to speak to everyone one else and then I'm posting a couple of Christmas gifts dh got me. I love them! Your caroler pics are just wonderful, (did you make the outfits? They are just adorable) thanks so much for sharing & Dawson is just the cutest little sweetcheeks, DD is a beauty too! Keep them coming! She is just precious and just the cutest lil dress! Ya done good girl! Laura's braclet is beautiful, luckly girl! Your next pic is completely offensive! I'd strap his a$$ down with my handcuffs and completely enjoy the pleasure of ripping the tape/wax off! lol (Not sure which would hurt worse) But that wax must be bad, we'd ask Carol...scratch that...she never uses anything! (So the mailman said!) Shirley...Bubba & the Love Machine are laughing theirs butts off! (They said she just got desperate one night, cause she didn't get all those love toys she was supposed to get *wink*) We'll fix that next time. I bet he could do a comb up and over. Mellen Mellen....not after I get thru with him!!!!!!!!! Sue the babies are looking so good! What a great momie they have. Hope you feeling good dear lady! (Now don't you party too hard tonight) You've been worrying me with this wine, you must stay away from Tina & Remy, I insist! Laura yes, how did the gifts go over, I'm very sure they were loved, but just in case, you can send the to Holly St, SC and they'll find a welcomed home:)) Theresa, you're so right. I love decorating for Christmas, but I always hate the 'taking down' I'll tell ya I used to decorate every room in this house and I have alot of rooms! I don't have the energy anymore....I'm splitting it up between the girls, I naturally will have 1st pick, lol, I just can't do that much anymore, but will absolutely be fun to decorate next Christmas!
