Lighting Design Dilemma Bathrooms

What type of vanity light above this mirror?

I am using these mirrors above sinks with pental quartz misterio countertop, matte black hardware and faucets, greige paint, and gray wood vinyl plank flooring. A mix between modern farmhouse and transitional I guess. I have one skylight but other than that no can lights so my vanity lights need to produce enough light for room.

IMO with the detailing of the tops of these mirrors sconces would look better than an overhead vanity fixture...though I haven't seen pictures of the space

Sconces, for sure. If this is a powder room your options are many. If this is a master or bathroom used for makeup, etc... make sure you get sconces that dispense a lot of lumens and can be dimmed. Please, no exposed bulbs in clear glass shades in a MB.

This is the OLD vanity & mirrors- I don't have a pic of the new cabinets BUT the new vanity is standard height, (same as in pic) as you can see the mirror is even taller than the vanity- so maybe 48" tall mirror in pic? The new vanity has towers on either end, sinks moved closer together, but lighting still at same height. There will be new, individual mirrors over each sink

Here are some examples of full mirror bathrooms. Is your vanity inserted between two walls? What type of light works well above the dresser mirror in a bedroom?

What about a table lamp and will save the cost of an electrician installing sconses. As well, if you plan on changing dresser eventually, the installed lights, may not work size and shape wise. Nothing above mirror.

Sconces on the sides, otherwise, the typical straight shape of the vanity light fights with the shape of the Queen Anne style mirror
