Help with Bird of Paradise

Please lend me your tips on these plants. I’ve had the large one for 5 years south facing window.

Can you put all three plants in one slightly larger clay pot? I’m aware of how large they get. Or do they each need a pot of their own? What diameter would you recommend for individual or group potting?

Whats your favorite bird of paradise soil to use?

What! 5 years that one on the left? I hope I can help. I've been growing them for 3 or 4 years and they seem to do very well. In the spring I would re pot them into something 1 1/2 times bigger. take them outside in the summer if you can.

I use miracle grow potting mix for everything and they do very well. You could put them in one big pot but they will not grow like they are supposed to.

This was one foot tall a few years ago when I bought it for $20

Nice greeeen plant you have. Mine looks terrible right now. I water maybe once a week and have it in the shade trying to recover from the fertilizer burn. Before that it was in full sun. So can you tell if my plant is the bop or banana plant? Also while repotting it I added in lots of perilite. So should I just keep following the brown stems and trimming? How about using a spray bottle of water should I and at what time of the day, how often?

The white one, Strelitzia nicolai, is less cold tolerant than the other common one, Strelitzia reginae. But it should come back when the weather warms up. The white one also gets much taller, although Ballarat weather will probably regularly trim it down, LOL.

Had this plant for a few months with no issues, suddenly noticing these brown spots on a few leaves. New shoots still opening, but don’t want this to spread! I water once a week, and every other week use a diluted solution, as pictured. Is it mites, mold, rot, sunburn, over fertilization??
