I like the handle pull the best, but the knob is nice too (it might be a good way to sort of finish things off on the stack.) Either one will add good continuity to the room. I hated Avent. I think they gave my son a bad nursing action that let my milk supply dwindle. The baby doesn't really get much nipple in his mouth--just the nub. With nursing, part of the motion is a pressing down with the mouth behind the sinuses. With the Avent, there's no section of the nipple that can be treated that way by the baby's jaw. But I stuck with them because of all the stuff people say about them. After we stopped nursing, I looked at the Healthflow nipples, and realized I would have liked them better. I like the Evenflo and the Johnson & Johnson Healthflo. I don't like Gerber (not enough of a bulb at the base), and I don't like Avent, and I don't like the Playtex ones.

Love the modness of it all - and thanks for showing the beginning of the progress. I was wondering where you got the darling hearts and checked pattern - then looked up through the posts. From your plates! Never thought about using more recent plate patterns - I'm not much into garage sales because my mother was so obsessed with them. (not meant as a dig to anyone who likes them - just that I was recruited to drive her everywhere.) Do a sand on site hardwood ( White OAK /select ) board width you select, and stain/finish on site to your liking. If you want a pre finished, selection, you need to go shopping, look at the wear layers on any you select. Bring the samples home. this is a LOCAL, endeavor. Personally? I'd paint the built in. Feel like and awful lot of wood : ) Pre finished IS hardwood, so is engineered flooring with a different substrate. ........sand on site hardwood is forever......and will outlive you. Depends of course, WHAT is beneath your carpet. If a slab/crawl space foundation? You need engineered product, and a moisture barrier.
