Please help! Furniture placement

There is no where to put anything in my living room!!!!! Right now we're trying to place the Christmas tree, and it's awful. And also our tv/tv stand really has no good place bc we have a sectional now. What can I do?!????

Post photos and a layout with measurements. No one has divine powers to know what your space looks like and what can go where just based on your question.

well, if you can i would go back to the builder and ask for a little more wall in that room. the only true wall i see is to the left of the kitchen. i know many think you can just put it above the fireplace, but that tends to cause a lot of tension and pain in your neck and shoulders. as it stands now, i would put the tv on the wall to the left of the kitchen. You are going to have to measure carefully. the 2 couches should face each other and then 2 chairs that face the tv.

Without measurements it’s difficult to advise. Generally one ideally looks directly toward a screen but in todays broadcast, sound is equally important so where are the speakers? Our basement is multi-purpose entertainment space. Though a great room space, various functional areas are incorporated. Below is a video which may provide ideas. Thanks for all the suggestions! I like the sofas facing each other so I may play around more with that layout using the green ottoman. But…the tv would have to mount above the fireplace and console table and cabinet would have no place to go. I will also use all of your great ideas on the previous layout which may be the safer bet. So…my hubby said I could start looking for replacement couches since these are pretty bad and uncomfortable. Any sofa suggestions? I do like slipcover style and chesterfield maybe in an oatmeal color. Thanks again! 😃

Yes, please post floor plan sketch. Photos of all four walls as well as the sectional and TV cabinet you have in the room will also be very helpful

These are things I can see. I cannot see the areas you mention in the Design Dilemma.

It is most always a mistake to buy a loveseat along with a matching sofa and oversized chair : [
