I am considering a Simonton Inovo 4 Panel Sliding Patio Door; Has anyone purchased one of these and have experiences to share? I would like to know: 1. How it held up so far 2. Any issues with two middle doors closing completely or leaving airway inbetween? 3. Customer Service issues I appreciate your time.

We originally had a slider spec'd, but we would prefer to have a door that opens all the way. My main concern was cosmetically that the panels would be too narrow. Was hoping to get an idea from those who have installed or own a similar door if 33-34" per panel is too narrow, especially at the taller 9' height. It's so hard to find pictures and examples of anything other than 12x8 or 16x8 it seems.

Anderson rep was presenting the vinyl clad with engineering wood inside option. Not sure which specific line it is. She was from Renewal by Anderson. Any particular reasons why you suggest against Pella/Alside - is it the low-end /vinyl part or brands in general? Would the wood on inside of elevate not be susceptible to rot? also eventually i plan to replace windows and in my budget would very likely be vinyl, will they look really out of place with a wood (painted white) pine patio door? (i dont have windows in that same room, but would be in adjacent/other rooms. for reference i replaced interior doors last year with menards 6 panel wood painted white). lastly, any thoughts on Marvin essential series (vinyl), likely to be cheaper as well. sorry for all the follow-ups, there are so many options and not having enough expertise/experience/feedback on who to trust, getting very confusing. glad we have this site with experts like you guys contributing.

I was not aware that ThermaTru made sliding patio doors? But I would pretty much say I would never buy a Jeldwen exterior door or window.
