Baptism Cookies?

You know, I learn something new every day. They have cookie cutters shaped like a cross, I don't know why I was surprised.

Elery's youngest granddaughter was baptized last weekend and there was a lunch/gathering afterward in the church's "multi-purpose" room. I asked what I should bring and was told, as usual, that the kids all wanted cookies. That means sugar cookies, cut out and frosted, and if I could put some more sugar on that they'd just be extra happy.

So.....I googled "baptism cookies". Yes, there is apparently such a thing. I found some I liked and then shopped Amazon for a cutter. Here's what I ended up with:

Lots of them:

They were actually sturdier than I anticipated and traveled the 2 hours to the baptism mostly intact, although I was having visions of all the tops breaking off or something. The kids were sneaking cookies even before lunch was served, LOL, so I know they were appreciated.
