Sofa Arrangement and Rug suggestions

I recently purchased a home. This is my living room area and there is a fireplace just in front of the sofa recliners that you see. I would love suggestions on a different way to arrange my sofas. I also have my television above the fireplace, so that’s the only way I could come up with to arrange the furniture. Also, would a patterned or solid rug be better if I want to get patterned pillows? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Can you post a picture facing the fireplace...maybe a view from standing in front of the front door.

Since your space is somewhat modern especially with the tile floor I'm going to suggest you go in a more traditional vein just to warm the space up a bit. I might also suggest a warm red to coordinate with the color of the sofa and the seemingly warm tones of the walls and floor. Maybe something like this:

Wow..that is an odd layout. It has you pinned in working between those two doors. Is that a dining area where the ceiling fan is? And what is to the left of the fireplace?

You could put the one seater recliner on the other side of the two seater across from the three seater so it wont block the door. As from the rugs and pillows there’s no yes or no answer it depends on the pattern/color of the pillows and rug

I would suggest a white rug but since it’s usually inconvenient you can go with a grey. You’ll definitely need a coffee table there to finish off the space.
