How about Ikea's butcherblock? It's super affordable and you could do a darker color (beech, stained... or their oak is actually really nice) to contrast with your maple floors: Here's a kitchen with wood floors, butcherblock on the island and it looks like soapstone perimeters:

Hi! For all of you that used snowfall white as a kitchen cabinet colour, what is your flooring material? I’ve used snowfall white on all my doors and trim...I absolutely love it! We are renovating our kitchen and if we decide to go with a white a kitchen, I would like to use the same white that I have in my home. However, the tile flooring is white as well and countertops (quartz with some grey and gold bringing) My fear is that it’s “too much white”...debating if I should paint my cabinets a greige paint to off set all the white!! Any suggestions, recommendations!?!!!

@ Cook-No budget. Although I know something like Blue Bahia is not in my range:) I am located in Myrtle Beach. In process of finding a different fabricator as we are now having difficulties with the one I went to originally. Too long to explain. Any suggestions on a fabricator is welcomed as well.
