glenda, you triggered a memory....way back in the day, Dad worked nights so he had days to work on the new addition he was building to our house. So Mom would make a big dinner for him at lunch, and he'd pack a sandwich to bring to work for dinner. One day, Mom prepared a steak dinner for Dad while she was fixing a fried baloney sandwich for herself. Well apparently that baloney frying must've smelled awfully good as Dad sat down for dinner looking forward to it and was so unhappy to find out he was only getting steak!
