What happened to my succulent? Too much direct sun? Rotting?

I have a Sempervivum Arachnoideum that I just purchased last Saturday in excellent health. My succulent has been fine all week, but I put it out on the porch yesterday so it could get more sun since I knew I was not going to be home for about 48 hours (I live in an apartment so I move my plants around to different windows throughout the day so it can get the full 5-6 hours of indirect sun). On the porch is probably got about 4 hours of direct sunlight for both days, but when I checked on it today the leaves seem to be turning light brown/white. I live in the correct zone for this succulent (Reno, NV), and I have not watered it since last Saturday, but it is still a little damp. Did it get too much direct sun? Are they rotting from being damp for too long (I have a lot of pebbles on top of the soil and surrounding the soil on the inside of the pot that are maybe preventing the soil from drying?) I am new to succulents so I’m not sure what I am doing :(
