I have a 7yr old 8.5kw Mr. Steam that i got from Allan at www.steamandsauna.com. Allan was very helpful, not pushy, and the price was good. I did not get the autoflush, and I do not flush it as often as I should (ie, open up the tap behind and let the water out so it doesn't calcify). Despite this, the unit has worked flawlessly, and is perfect for my space. I would not hesitate to purchase again.

I'm trying to find out the same information. I want to use the shark steam mop on my travertine floors in the kitchen, the shower and bathroom. Were you able to find any information on whether or not the steam mop is safe for travertine? I am worried it will take off the sealer that was put on the travertine and then the travertine will be more susceptible to staining, scratching, etc.

We have a full bathroom with honed durango travertine on the floors and tub surround and could NOT be happier. There are two corner travertine shelves as well inside the shower area. The bathroom is used by a 17 year old girl, so it gets its fair share of abuse. We sealed the travertine twice when it was installed a year ago and clean-up has been a BREEZE! Hot water rinsing gets 99% of the cleaning done. I am planning on resealing this week. We are so happy with it that we are putting it in our kitchen which is being renovated.

I am looking at both systems for aprox 90sqft shower. Anyone use either?
