I think I might have watered too much. Since I had been worrying about humidity, I thought I could add it back by watering lightly everyday. After posting this question, I had thought about the possibility of over-watering, and so I had stopped giving them water for 2 days already. The top of the planting medium is dry, but it is still moist about 1cm down after 2 days. Definately not wet though, just slightly moist. This problem can now be seen on every single one of my collard seedlings (I have 6 pots). I checked on the stem, although there is a bit of purple coloring on them, they aren't tipping over or turing thin and brown. So I hope I'm not over-watering to the point of damping off. The planting medium I used was turface, perlite, akadama, and peat (baked to sterilize). I have another question regarding temperature. Since I have the plants lined up against a north-west facing window (with metal halides above that runs from 6am-7pm), when sunlight shines through in the afternoon, the temperature of the surfaces where sunlight reaches will rise to close to 90F; eventhough the ambient temperature of the room is kept under 80F. Does it matter? Will the 90F sunlight patch be too hot of the plants? Or is this okay as long as the potting medium is kept cool?

'Jades are Crassula, and not cactus at all, All cacti are succulents. If you put a living plant in there is will need good drainage, air circulation,sun, some food at least once a year, just transplant it into fresh mix. with 10% organic matter, the rest inorganic, sand compacts and doesn't let the air in the mix, which is important. I think the lizard would love to eat it. My friends grows theirs in a open pen that they can't get out of in the open on the ground. They live in the high desert. They may bring them into the green house during the winter. Crassula need a cool evening. 90 F and 70F night time temps. as an example. your plant will also need a cool winter. No heat. Little if any summer moisture including high humidy. I've grown these plant since I was a child, and the plant that you are calling 'Agentea' does have the smallest leaves, yet is just a variety of C. Ovata. Some are bush some not depending on how you trim it. Leaves have noting to do with it, it's flowers, bark, nodes etc. Norma

midnightgirl- I don't yet, I just set it up Tuesday. So far so good. I have 6 cats in there, I took out the milkweed that was just wrapped in wet papertowel and aluminum foil, it wilted too fast. I didn't have anymore "small mouthed" bottles (I had in there a glass decor bottle and an 8oz glass coke bottle, which works great, my neice left it here, I think I may need to go buy some coke to get more) so I used a couple 20oz plastic pop bottles to hold and water more milkweed. I wrapped the aluminum foil around the top, so no one falls in. I was sitting down there earlier, very quietly watching them. All I could here was munch munch munch!! Quite a nice break from my noisy kids. My biggest concern right now is the sudden size difference between cats. They were all the same size, until just before I moved them in. Now there's 3 large ones, 1 med, 2 smaller, and even though i keep moving them apart, the smallest and the biggest keep ending up on the same plant, sometimes the same leaf! I don't want anyone to get eaten on accident. I have 8 milkweed cuttings in there, so I thought there'd be enough room for all. But they like to move around!

I love beardies! Have you tried adding branches and new things for him to climb on? When they don't have a lot of these "obstacles" they can get bored. As for lighting, it does depend if your beardie is sluggish, or just bored. Its hard to tell between the two. If he's sluggish it might be calcium problems and I actually have r-zilla desert tubes as well which are pretty nice. And as I said, if he's just bored, then adding logs and fun things like that for him to play with should do the trick.
