For mudrooms and entry areas-which natural fiber rug?
Comments (9)I have a very durable rug in my mudroom, it is rubber backed polypropylene. I live in Maine and we have an official 5th season-mud season. Plus it is fun- its called the pencil chicken! I saw a similar one( a different David Milliken rug design) in our town's music center- where people are tromping in and out all day in wet muddy boots and I fell in love. I can hose it off and it looks brand new!! Here is a link that might be useful: milliken rug...See Morewhich area rug for my bedroom?
Comments (14)The tan/blue sample blends with the fabric of your bed and your wallcolor and won't draw a lot of attention to itself. It will look like bound carpet. The trellis pattern will look more like an area rug. Right now your room is very neutral feeling with subtle touches of blue. The blue trellis will boost the blue factor in the room quite a bit. It would look great. If you think it will be too much blue for you, select the linen/ivory trellis. Then you will have versatility to change up the color scheme of the room in the future if the mood strikes you....See Moreneed chandelier for room? over bed or sitting area, which type?

Comments (5)@Lil S I was going to use a runner initially. But, I thought it shouldn't block the stairs or entrance to the kitchen. I guess I was thinking too much. I've never had a long hallway before, so I was stumped! I appreciate the feedback. @Karen Rose: Apparently, I was thinking way too much about this and should have went with my first gut. Ugh. Thank you so much! @groveraxle You are awesome for proving a link. I was looking on Wayfair and Overstock and couldn't find a runner longer than 13 feet. Since the 22 foot runners are only 2' 3" and wouldn't cover the opening of the front door. I think a indoor/outdoor rug and then a 16" would work, Yay...See MoreRelated Professionals
