A display inside Coventry Cathedral that I photographed in 2008. "On November 14, 1940, the city of Coventry was devastated by a German bombing raid that lasted for over 10 hours and left over two-thirds of its buildings destroyed or damaged. Among the ravaged buildings was the Cathedral of St Michael, which had stood in the city since the late 14th century. After the war, the cathedral was not rebuilt on site but left in ruins as a testament to the futility of war." From Wikipedia.com.

A nostalgic photo from around 1962 I found recently that brought back memories of our family vacations to Florida when I was a kid. This was a glass-bottom boat ride at Silver Springs. We often traveled with my Aunt & Uncle and cousins to Florida, usually the Gulf, but occasionally to Jax Beach, Daytona or down the Atlantic coast somewhere. My aunt and I were cut out of the photo somehow so I gave it to my little brother, the one in the cowboy hat.

The lettering on my new sweatshirt that I bought yesterday while vacationing here in Michigan, where I was born and raised.

I reseeded under the plum tree. It's now heavy with fruit.
