Comments (10)I suggest you start with a runner rug down the hallway and a smaller one at the door. From the rug choose some colors that you like and look for some art for the walls. In the corner of the hallway where the runner will be, place a tall container in the corner and fill it will branches which you can purchase at Michael's or hobby lobby or online. What you would be doing is giving the eye something to enjoy when entering the room. Yes to a new light fixture and I would like to see a round mirror over the thermostat to check yourself when leaving and, also, to add another element. Also, as stated from others, some wall art or treatment....See MoreHelp me choose my front entry porch tile, please
Comments (80)Well, painting our doors is taking much more time than anticipated! Partly bc we decided to take them off to lay flat and spray for a smoother finish. Plus my husband decided to work on building our shed yesterday so i had to wait for help on a few occasions. But we need a shed so that’s ok! Prep took forever bc the doors are not in great shape. And those darn windows! But I got both doors prepped and we sprayed 1 coat of primer on 1 door. But then couldn’t move it right away and then had to hang them before dark! So we will finish this weekend! I’ll post pics when done. Thank you!...See MorePlease help me "paint" my front entry door!
Comments (64)I don't like wreaths - but I would get a much larger door mat, or even an outdoor rug that covers much of the doorstep. If you can find one, choose a solid color or simple pattern ( to stay with the theme of solid door, simple bold stripe)...See Moresuezbell
