Well. I had a Queen in 2016 than went with a Duet. I wouldn't trade my Duet for anything.

What's your procedure for diaper washing in the Duet?

F8 E3 is related to overfill or oversuds. The water level pressure switch registered an overfill condition continuously for more than 60 seconds or momentarily 3 times during a cycle. Does the drain pump turn on? It normally runs for at least 30 seconds during an overfill situation.

Things to check:
- inlet valves are not seeping or not shutting off (which would result in an overfill)
- drain hose is not obstructed (incomplete or slow drain)
- pump filter clogged (incomplete or slow drain)
- air pressure hose from the tub to the water level sensor is not kinked or clogged (erratic water level sensing)
- oversudsing

Pretty sure it was an overfill. We just got back from a trip, and I'm trying to catch up on the laundry. Our water is iron hard here, and I get hardly any suds, no matter what detergent I use or how much. Even with STPP, I don't get suds.

For diapers, I rinse all solids in the toilet. I fill up to 1/2 to 2/3 full. 1/2 is better since the diapers are already wet. I add a tablespoon of detergent. I usually use Persil, but anything works. Then I run on the heavy duty cycle on cool for the shortest time.

After that runs, I run it on the heavy duty cycle on hot for the longest time. On my machine, that an hour and 47 minutes. I use 1 - 1.5 T of STPP and 2 T of powdered detergent. If I feel like they need softening, or they need an extra rinse, I'll run the drain and spin with the rinse and add a plop of Mrs. Meyers fabric softener in the load. I use all cotton or a combo of hemp/cotton diapers. The hemp/cotton have a little bit of spandex in them, so there is a little poly in them. They all come out smelling clean and wonderful and don't smell when peed or pooped in. I use sun for stains.

Large loads shouldn't cause an overfill of water ... although a large load of absorbent items such as towels can cause a surge of extracted water during spin-up which may trigger the water level sensor to register flood level similar to what happens during oversudsing, if the pump isn't draining the accumulated water quickly enough.

I wonder what caused those codes then? I ran it again, and it seemed fine. Then I ran another load. It's fine, too. I did take out the drawer for the detergent and cleaned it out. There was some iron staining on the top of it, and also on the top inside the machine that I cleaned up.

Pretty sure my machine is the 95 as well. I may take the hoses off and see if they are gunked up from the water. We moved in 8 months ago, and didn't have any trouble where we were before, but the water is slightly different here than there.

So, 2 1/2-3 hours to do a load of diapers in the Duet. Vs 28 minutes in the SQ. Or less than an hour if you decide they need to be put thru two wash cycles.

Speed Queen--analog. No mystery codes; no mother boards; less to go wrong. Parts readily available. Can stop the machine and leave items to soak if they're extra dirty. Heavy beast but I can wrestle my SQ around by myself. In fact, I just moved it out of the laundry room solo so I could work on remodeling the laundry room. (65 YO girl!)

Yes, I'd buy that machine.

Disclaimer--I've never owned a front loader and don't have any desire to give up my SQ for all of the above reasons.

I have the 2017 analog SQ and love it. Tried to find one for my folks in the last two days and struck out. If I could find them a nice used washer I'd go for it. However looking at that picture it looks like a lot of crud around the bleach dispenser. Before you purchase it make sure it is not filthy and has not been abused.

I agree, it looks like it has NOT been taken care of. I haven't heard from the seller. It was email only.

I’d sure get it. I’m just curious how much they are asking for it? Seems like it would be a great time saver for a person with a little one in diapers. You could always sell yours to offset the cost of buying it.

Based on the glimpse of the bleach dispenser in that picture above?
Have you taken a spin through the typical offerings nowadays on
CraigsList and particularly Facebook Marketplace? That machine looks
near-pristine in comparison ... although of course more pics or first-hand examination is needed to confirm.

I agree with Dadoes. The minimal amount of gunk around the bleach dispenser doesn't bother me a bit. That area collects dirt in a hurry. It can look that bad after just a week's worth of laundry. I'm always wiping it down/ just a bit of routine cleaning not any worse than wiping the drum seal in a front loader.

Dirt falls off when you load the washer and then the steam & condensation turns in into a bit of mud.

I got the information off of the machine, and it looks like a 2015 model. I decided to pass for now, as my current machine is still working, and I really have no place for it right now. I may think this was a stupid decision later on, but it's a good one today.
