Black on Black Windows - WHERE can I find them?

I've seen too many of Chip and Joanna Gaines renovations with the "black on black" windows. Now that I'm getting ready to do a total renovation I "MUST" have the black on black windows. I've tried to get quotes for Jeld-Wen, Anderson (crap window per all contractors), Pella (again, contractors told me to stay away), Sierra Pacific (extremely pricey) and Marvin (Wood and I don't want to paint them). Champion Windows quoted me, but, they were $40,000 and I absolutely refuse to pay that kind of money! Are there black aluminum windows? Anyone else that may have started making the Vinyl with this exterior/interior combo? And to make it worse, I want a craftsman top window too.

Where is the home? In the areas the Chip and Joanna live and work, they can go with thermally broken aluminum and be fine. In a dark bronze as well as black, they fit the bill.

The suggestion of Pine Knot is a very good one. If you can, you should go down for their open house festival as it is a great show. Only a short trip from your location. Its in Virginia just north of NC border but you have to get there from the NC side. My nicest double (a lavendar pink) and my best 2 yellows came from there on one of my trips down. My best black (they are really a smoky overlay very dark purple) with gorgeous dark new foliage and my best white double were from seed ordered from Elizabethtown hellebores several years back. There is a Tissue Culture black available (got one of them from Pine Knot 2 years ago) but I don't think its quite as good as some of my others.

If you want to go with Marvin, know that they can only do square and rectangle in the infinity and essential lines. If you have a 18x48 (like we do in two bathrooms), they cannot do them and be operational. They must be fixed. To do any arch or shape, you have to go with Marvin Ultimate (fiberglass and wood) and then still, they may have to be casement, fixed or double hung. a 36x78 Ultimate window with an arch top will run about $2838.83. An Essential 36 x 18 fixed window with an arch (like above a front door) is $729.45. A rectangle transom Essential 36 x 18 fixed ran $257.37. Installation not included.

Lol i thought if that too except i paid alot of money to have it made the same as what they ripped off . it was all wood, did it all in white , sofit and gutters are new also, before i even thought of black windows. once i thought of that i ofcourse wished i would have done gray but what is done is staying .

Windows on Washington Ltd - no, I do not want wood windows. Too expensive and I definitely do not want to paint wood windows either. I'm in Ohio. Not sure what "thermally broken aluminum" windows are? Do you mean find some old aluminum windows and paint them??? We really need thermopane here in Ohio with our cold winters. Are there actually any metal type windows with black on black that you know about???

Kolbe Windows & Doors - thank you SO MUCH for the link. There is actually a dealership here in central Ohio and 3 others in outlying areas too. I'll be going to the showroom tomorrow. Hope they will be my budget. Website doesn't show any kind of pricing - but, at least it looks like this may be an option.

Learn to love something else if you are on a budget. 40K is a low price for that want list.

I used commercial windows for a long time to get black for clients now there are some companies making them but be prepared to pay more

Commercial windows are typically aluminum and would not meet state energy code.

+1 to Todd's comments. You are in a climate and region of the country where Aluminum is not an option. I don't know how many windows you have, but nothing about a wood or fiberglass window (black/black) says "inexpensive" unfortunately.

They would need to be wood with cladded ext. although not a fan of wood windows.

Just went through this process.

Fiberglass/composite options in black/black I researched:

Anderson 100 Series

Milgard Ultra

Kolbe Forgent

Marvin Essential

Pella Impervia

Ruled out the last two b/c they don't only allow for between the glass grids.

Jeld-Wen will be an option whenever they release the Auraline.

Both of those options allow for GBG.

Yes only GBG with those two (last I checked).

I went with Andersen 100s, with exterior and interior grilles, and they look incredible.

Cheapest option and by a significant margin if you order from HD.

I'd recommend the casements over the SH version.

Could have been my install but the action on the SHs are pretty wonky.

Action on the casements is perfect.

My wife and I are building in Tennessee and went to look at the Pella and Marvin options. We're going with the Marvin. The finish is nicer and we actualy like the grids between the glass for cleaning. Just curious why Anderson gets a bad rap. here in massachusetts they are considered a very good window.
