Thalictrum Splendide in its new location

This specific plant bloomed spectacularly in 2013 and 2014 in a full sun locale. But it did lots lesser in 2015 and 2016 (I had been spoiled). So after much internal debate ("....just leave well enough alone") I ended up digging it out in late summer 2017 and moving it to the backyard where it would get only morning sun.

I could tell even last Fall that it transplanted well and it was vigorous all this spring. It is now 7 feet tall now that it is bloom and the foliage has remained pristine ie no yellowing as has been the case in past years.
