Don't paint the brick. Let's see some budget friendlier, hasslefree friendlier things you can do: Landscaping: Curved beds, high and low native plants in varied shades to frame your lovely house. Most small garden centers work with various landscapers who can help you design landscaping and choose plants that grow well in your area. Note the evergreens, which you can enjoy looking at year around. Front door: Door and beefier columns:

I was saying get a professional landscaper via a small garden center in your area who can look at the house and yard and recommend ways to set off your lovely home that will make you look at it differently. A garden designer can design easy-care beds even if you don't have a green thumb. The right native perennial plants, trees, shrubs, and groundcovers for your location, light, and water conditions will give your house a makeover. It's a professional job, however, and not something done out of the Home Depot garden section. If you want to tweak things, stain the pillars the light cedar shown in that photo I posted and match simple railings and a front door to it. I don't care for the limewash look, but if you do then someone else on the thread can help you out there. I personally think your brick looks fine. Good luck!

In spite of what I am sure someone will quip...that there no such thing... there are some plants deer like less.  I've had experience with people who call themselves professional landscapers who have what seems like no training in art. And the wort mistake I ever made was hiring a nursery's landscaper. They were all about getting rid of their plants, not making my yard pretty.  Deer don't love daffodils, iris, peonies, hellebores, ferns, monarda, agastache, achillea, ornamental grasses, astilbe, creeping phlox, veronica... There are enought to keep you covered. Do you have the plan your landscaper made? You could use it to just replace what the landscaper suggested...tree for tree, shrub for shrub, flowers for flowers. Oh, a great evergreen shrub is the false yew, which comes in different forms to suit several needs. The real yew is deer candy.  You can also sort on plant zone, soil type, etc. Looks like you are getting lots of good advice. You really do have a beautiful home. Not a whole lot needed. Since you have to replace the door...making it lighter. Interesting idea to paint the remaining trim a darker greige. I think I like it.

I would change the garage windows as grapefruit said, painting them and the secondary door to match the darkest brick (circled in blue on this photo.) You might want to pressure wash the brick first to get to its true color. Pick a creamy white for the columns; maybe match the mortar or just a tad lighter. Larger shutters would look better. You might use the old ones to try out some colors for them and the front door. I can't see what kind of lights are on the porch, but they are needed. You might wire in some cans along the porch ceiling, or put a pair of lantern lights at the door. They should be 1/3 of the door's height. Then pull out the shrubbery and prep to install new landscaping next spring. If there is a street directly out front, a wider walk that goes directly from the front door to the street would be a big improvement. Simple stepping stones from the end of the porch to the driveway would suffice for anyone parking there to come into the house.
