More Hosta Photos - tell me if you get tired of them!
Comments (3)If you know us at all...we will be once again asking for names. lol Last time you posted pictures of your hosta, I had all of them except for the Iron Gate one. Love the hosta pictures, btw! Here in my yard I have all the perennials labelled with metal labels...as sure enough the perennial that has a MIA label is the one that someone will want to know the name of. And besides, looking at the name and then looking at the plant again and again helps me to remember what the name of that particular hosta, daylily, peony or whatever is. Having a name is also great as I do the farmer's market and also trade plants. People want to know that what I am selling/trading is what they are getting. This is very important! Comments (4)Overcast days, or very early and last hours of sunlight give better contrast and colors - instead of sun overhead. Do some as leaf shots instead of full plant closeups. Don't know if I am reading something into this, but I assume this for some display or event since you have a deadline -- how about using a collage with more distant plant along with leaf or flower closeups. or or Besides a gardener visiting understands about damage from hail. Comments (45)Thank you for the kind words! The Hansa has a sort of suckering habit but I don't mind it--it's easy to relocate a chunk! I love the Katsura--that and the Dogwoods are my favorite trees! The Juniper I've decided to not be snobby about--can't beat that evergreen color, so I'm embracing the Junipers LOL. Of course, it helps that I'm trying to cover bare ground. I wish I'd planted more trees early on, for sure! I need some Japanese Maples, I think!
