Back from my trip to see sister!!
Comments (14)I'm glad you and your sister had such a great time. I loved my short curly hair when it came back too and called it my chemo cut. Loved the curls but they only lasted for a few cuts and then they were gone. A friend of mine has a picture like you describe. I'm anxious to see yours. It will take awhile for your sister to get over the fatigue that comes with treatment. I can't say I ever got all of my energy back....but then again, I am older now....See MoreTaking a Trip Today
Comments (17)Thanks, JOYY. She was in MANY 28-day programs, and even a six-week one a couple yrs. ago, but kept slipping and getting nearer death each time, so if she graduates, I told her she'd be practically bullet-proof. This program teaches one to cope w/ANY kind of stressful problem and to make better choices in life. I have faith that her life w/be different when she comes out. She kept saying "If I had only listened to AA and followed the teachings, and I'll never take AA for granted again, or be ungrateful for anything". Thanks again for concern....See MoreTaking a trip tomorrow
Comments (13)You should be okay at 200 miles. That can be driven in a few hours. Long trips require a place to sleep overnight and that becomes the major problem. If you are concerned about food along the way, take along nonperishable snacks to munch on along the way. And carry drinking water/liquids. On long trips, its a good idea to have a couple of days worth of drinking water with you. Do have a plan in case of auto breakdown. Wishing you a joyous trip. Don't forget the camera....See MoreIf they let me, I may take a trip to High Country Roses this week
Comments (44)Susan, You are correct! Many roses didn't have a tag so I may have pulled it from another in the region. I was always careful to note where I pulled it from and put it back in the exact same place. So I'm thinking I pulled the wrong tag. I will take that picture down. Looking at the web site I think the one I had a picture of was Double Delight as their display is alphabetical and that would have been next to Dublin Bay....See More- 8 years ago
