Variegated jade collapse, green slime

I have tried to post this topic two other times, very descriptive, full of pictures and it just won't post, ugh.
There is green slime inside of it, I don't know if it's a virus, when I looked up rot here it just showed black rot, not green. It looked fine yesterday morning and last night it was collasped. It was in a terracotta pot with perlite and cactus potting mix. South window that gets east and west sun, watered when dry.
This is what I cut off
If it is a virus, I'll toss it. Does anyone know? Thank you
