Yes, I believe it's time for that plan B ... although, I do not grow 'Pee Gee', my 'Quick Fire' is beginning to bloom and 'Little Lamb' is budding up nicely and I'm up north in zone 4a.

Well, my Little Lime has bloomed early and late. It has been all over the map, as they say. I have seen broccoli as early as April and as late as June. It started the broccoli phase late this year (in late June).

A long winter would definitely delay the start of flower buds and thus delay the blooming process.

For a wedding, I would recommend a florist since weather can be so variable and their plant sources are probably using greenhouses (almost impervious to outdoor gardening weather issues).

Plan B is large pots of annuals placed as needed.

i dont really see how pots are going to fill up inside 4 weeks ... unless you already have the pots elsewhere .... ready to move ...

You buy pots. Or if you will plant them yourself, you plant densely, with large plants.
