I wouldn't add pebbles, but be careful of all of this rain we are having. Keep them somewhere that they can get bottom heat but keep from getting soaked as well.. If the soil is bone dry and you didn't or they have never had a good initial watering, then I would add a little water and then let them dry out. It will take 6-8 weeks to root. So be patient. When I first started, I put mine on the deck facing the west and then placed an umbrella over them to protect them from getting soaked. If you want to mist, then once every 10 days is fine. They like to be left alone, so be patient with them!! Sounds like two beautiful varieties!!! Being in black pots , you won't see the roots, so don't go poking to find any. You will see signs of activity at the tips. They will get shiny and start to green up!! I would water for the initial potting up, then wait for leaves to be anywhere from 5-7 inches before I give them water., Then water on a wet/ dry cycle!! Hey everyone I live in Ontario Canada and I fall in hardiness zone 5. What I'm wondering is how do I get my plumeria cutting to grow ? I have it in a cactus mix in an 6-8 inch pot. What I'm finding is I have small leaves starting approx 1 inch long but fiND the plant sort of stalled there. What is the hottest it should be before moving to shade ? I have been told too use high phosphorus fertilizer and water once every 2 weeks. Does it require a lot of sun or humidity ? would you guys mind giving me some pointers please My email address is maverick2003357@yahoo.com

Wow thanks! I'll google all those. Haha I have a full sun line that I think I can fit things in because it's pretty spaced (pic attached) then the front gets maybe an hour or two of sun max. Then the random island thing my front tree is on where half gets probably 6 hours and the other half none. Then the ground cover would probably be awesome for the back!!! I planted creeping myrtle and bellflower(?) but again pretty spaced out (hence budget :/ ). I can come whenever you are free and I'll bring the delphinium! Thanks!!!!

Cuttings need bottom heat. Try heating mat, dont water till real leaves are there, you can lightly mist. And remember some varieties harder to root than others.
