You might want to also take a look at Zurn floor drains. My showers all have Zurn FD-2290-ST drains which are square, rather than round. They're commercial grade products, but I think the square shape works better with square floor tiles and provides a more architectural look. They're available in several sizes and finishes. Hmmm....sorry to be so dense about this but is this "lip" pretty much invisible to see and touch? I've looked at my tub to see something that prevents the water from draining back in but I don't see anything. It's definitely not a curtain thing - the curtain is up as far as it will go toward the wall. My curtain doesn't adhere to the wall no matter what you do in terms of wetting it since it's fabric not plastic. It's not an issue of forced air HVAC either. I've stood there and watched it when DH is in the shower - nothing is blowing. I've pulled the curtain forward as far as it will go. Water splashes against the wall when he's doing something like rinsing his hair. Anyway, today I looked at the glass shower screens - which DH believes will lead to even more water outside the tub - based on his experience using them outside the US. So if I could tell the problem is that my current tub is flange-less that would be good - I guess.

You might want to check California Faucets. I stumbled on them when looking for a drain, and found a few we really liked. We got this one: They come in about two dozen finishes (ours is a PVD coated stainless steel, which looks great with our brushed nickel fixtures). They make a number of styles, from traditional... ...to very modern... These do have screws, but they're cleverly hidden under the drain surface, so you'd never know it. -- Eric

I think MAYBE the height needs to be adjusted so that it is lower--I'm not sure as I am only looking at the pictures in the install manual. Does the stopper itself just "force fit" or "snap" over the rod that the nut is on? What about taking a very small dab of 100% silicone caulk and sticking it up under the stopper & down to the rod to hold it in place? Just a dab ought to work and not make it a "permanent" hold so as someone can still pull the stopper out to clean it & stick it back down with another dab later on. If the stopper just sits down on top of the rod itself and doesn't "snap" or "slip fit" over the rod, here's what I would do: 1. Remove stopper and turn it upside down. 2. Buy another nut the same size as the one that is on the rod and super glue or affix it to bottom of stopper in EXACT center of underside of stopper. 3. Once the nut has dried & is stuck securely to underside of stopper, then I would just screw the stopper with the super-glued nut to the rod itself with just a turn or two to hold it in place. It might even take 2 or 3 nuts stacked/glued on top of each other to "build up" the nut so that it can make contact with the rod to screw down. Hope this helps.... Jeanie
