Furniture Design Dilemma Bedroom

Help, What nightstands would look good with this bed and dresser?

Hi there, I need help with finishing a guest bedroom. I bought an iron bed last year and recently found an antique dresser, and I think I want to update the look of the dresser with Annie Sloan chalk paint in antique white and maybe keep the top dark. My question is what type of nightstands would look good in this room? Please help

Nice dresser. Also like that quilt.

See if you can find something that will "go with" or at least not clash with the dresser. If you had only the wrought iron bed, anything would go with it but by adding an antique dresser, you've limited your search to something that will "go with" or at least not clash with the dresser … otherwise your room is going to look as if it is where you put the stuff you don't want elsewhere.

What you use doesn't need to also be antique but consider looking for something with the same color/finish as your antique dresser.

The width of the wall is 16 ft. I saw this nightstand and it's nice but it's smaller than I'd like. Century does have a lot of customizable options that would work, but it gets rather pricey. I was looking for something with one or two drawers and a shelf. I love the idea of the shelf. It's perfect for stacking books and adding a decorative bowl to hold smaller items. As for my bed, I'm going to get a new one so it's clean slate. I'm really building this around the dresser. They featured this dresser in a magazine and paired with a textured fabric, navy, nightstand which was really pretty. I'm just looking for more inspiration. Thank you!

I have wanted a combo of woods and this all works. Thanks for the wall color too. Only other thought is to select chair if you do a chair that isn’t too dark. They tend to catch every piece of lint and dust flying around. I would still lean with blues. Bring some Gray in from bathroom for rug. I also assume you can personalize it with some of your dad’s fav things or pictures. You could do a grouping of pictures around TV on wall. Some version of this. From 4 to more pictures. Ones that make your Dad happy every time he sees them.

in this case black. I find that the white clashes with the wall color. If the wall color were different, then perhaps the white would look great too.
