New here to Houzz and this forum, but love how helpful it seems everyone is :)

We just moved into our home so lots still to do.
would like to see what ideas everyone has on what to so with the walls next to our fireplace... here are the details:
-The plan is to have a chunky piece of cypress (like our barn door) as our mantle.
-We have an outlet there but not putting a tv. Was thinking of a mirror or art.
-Right now I have those newspapers on the wall in the dimensions of some frames I have to get an idea of what it would look like. I’ll attach a picture of the frames. Prob would do simple b/w family photos.
-the piano most likely is going to go. It was given to us by a family member who didn’t want it but unfortunately it doesn’t work in our new space and it’s not looking like our kids will play.
-do I do gallery photos like I have laid out or don’t go with so much symmetry??
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!!
