Can You ID This Plant ?
Comments (7)Darmera always flowers before any leaves appear. It is native to this area and bloomed about 6 weeks ago or so. You would remember the flowers - they are very distinctive. It is happiest in very damp soils in shade. And the leaves are typically lobed to some degree. This looks more like a Podophyllum - perhaps Podophyllum pleianthum, or Chinese mayapple. Compare tothis....See MoreCan you ID this plant?
Comments (2)It could be Sedum tetractinum 'Coral Reef'; but it is quite etiolated. Any succulent will do best in good light, most like quite a few hours of direct sunshine. If my plant, I would cut off all long stems, pull off few lowest leaves; let it callus for few hrs-a day; and finally pot into better mix (can't tell for sure what yours is like, but looks dense. Mixing in lots of sifted perlite - like 50% of total volume - would help). Existing plant needs more light and will continue growing leggy unless you change that. Best if grown outdoors...depending where you are located, it may be hardy...slowly acclimatize to better light, otherwise it will burn....See MoreCan you ID this plant in NY thank you
