trim around kitchen window pics please!
Comments (3)Hi Tatland, I would use the same color for all the windows so if you have white windows I would go with the white. If you want pictures go to houzz.com (i'll add a link to the right page)and see which way would work better for you. They have more then 1300 photos of kitchens and you can narrow it down by style (traditional, modern, tropical etc). From what I see- most people use the same color for all windows so even the dark wood kitchens usually go with white windows. Good Luck! Comments (12)Correct, Hallet & Co., those are the areas that can be painted. To clarify, you are suggesting to paint all trim, corner boards and pergola white. We are keeping the entry path as concrete, but adding a flagstone path through the "garden" to the side gate. It is a darker flagstone. You are suggesting darker stucco in the same family of SW Kilim Beige (putty color) to ground the house? Do you agree garage door should be same color as the stucco? I'll look into taking the knuckles off of the railing. What "look" would you say you are you going for overall? Thank you!...See Morestone trim for window
Comments (4)Yeah I’m not going to remove all the stone just… because lol. I admit I probably wouldn’t have used so much stone, but this house was built long before I was born and will probably be here long after I’m gone. Stone is good. Stone is durable and will last a lot longer than wood. Plus I’m adding on to the house… so…. So should I leave the wall as is or finish it in stone? What about some rustic wood trim?...See MoreStone all the way around the garage?
Comments (11)A cladding material like brick or stone should terminate on an inside corner or it will look "pasted on." We less-than-affectionately refer to that treatment as "lick-and-stick." Don't do it as it pulls the focus away from your front entry which is where attention should be directed....See MoreRelated Professionals
