Help Me Identify This Yamanaka Silk Tablecloth Set

Stacia

Hello! I inherited this set from my grandmother, who got it from her brother (my grand uncle) a long time ago. No one in the family knows where or when it was purchased. I did some research and discovered that there were Yamanaka stores here in the U.S. in the 1920s and 1930s, but my aunt doesn't think it's that old. Does anyone have any ideas? There isn't really any information on the original bag.

It's actually a pretty rough fabric and not "silky" at all. I'd almost say it was another brand put into an old Yamanaka bag, but it fits perfectly and the embroidery looks like silk to me.

It's very cute and wasn't ever used, so I was hoping to clean off the age spot on the tablecloth itself and use it on the top of an antique shelf I have in the bedroom. But in the meantime, I'm really curious as to what this even is!
