I am just one person, but I personally would choose the lightest flooring you think looks good (so, #2), and my reasoning is that the dark brown of the cabinets (really nice), needs the contrast of a lighter floor, so as not to appear like a dark brown, dark mass, that can be hard to overcome, decorating-wise. Additionally, (just my opinion-might not be yours), I am just not a fan of reddish wood, and your cabinets don't have a reddish undertone, so I would be happy with the most neutral, light floor (#2). Finally, you may not be accustomed to "dark" floors, but I assure you, many people have regrets about them, because they show every dog hair and bit of dust, and people complain that they swiffer the dark wood floor, and can see a fine layer of dust right afterward. But perhaps don't share these concerns. I don't think your choices are "dark" per se, just that I'd go light as possible(#2).

Where is the tile and how much of the cool-tone wood products (ie. the bedroom set) do you have? How much of the house will receive the new floor? How long before you replace the tile? Please remember that you currently have THE LIGHTEST floor on the market (off-white carpet). Anything darker will cause the house to become darker. For every step darker than the carpet, your home will turn TWO steps darker. The two options you are showing will turn your home into a VERY DARK space. In a single bedroom, this might not be bad (dark cozy bedrooms make for great sleeping pods), but an entire house full of DARK flooring = a VERY DARK home. Personally I would try to replace like with like. A light floor will continue the light, airy feeling of the home. You do NOT have to go 'white'. But you can work with natural wood tones like oak, maple, birch, etc. These would be light enough. And the age of the TILE will also dictate what you will want to do with your floor. If you want to rip it out in the next 5 years, then do NOT match it. If this is brand new tile that is going to be there for 15-20 years, then 'yes' you absolutely should keep the colour in mind. Whew! Who knew that so much goes into picking flooring? (tongue in cheek of course)

My question is: do you want DARK floors or do you want "light" floors? Red Oak has red/cinnamon undertones. Those undertones have been 'out of fashion' for a few decades. A SUPER PALE Red Oak (ie. the 'raw' look) is a very pretty floor so long as the grade is high enough. Red Oak is relatively abundant so sourcing it is less costly. The narrower width is also a more common width to find and therefore easier to source if anything goes wrong in the future. The dark floor will look very dark once it is in the home. It will suck the light out of the rooms because it is so dark...thereby making it look and feel DARKER in the home. White Oak is slightly harder to source AND it is the "upgrade" material everybody wants so the price doubles simply by the concept of 'supply and demand'. The wider planks of the White Oak could mean a more costly form of install. As soon as you hit 5" width, you need a full spread glue or a glue-assist install. That INCREASES the cost of the LABOUR. So now you have a double hit to the budget. Personally I would prefer a white oak in a natural finish in a narrower plank (4" is fine). These trendy colours can be just that...trendy. I do not like dark floors - and I know the darker one will turn DARK inside a home. Only a SUPER WELL LIT HOME (ie. 3 walls of windows) will lighten up a floor like that. The lighter plank is a pretty product, but we've seen horror stories of these floors showing 'cooking oil stains' that seep through to the wood = disturb the stain = super ugly = super upsetting for the homeowner.
