So if I'm reading the math right, you had the first tank, and refilled three times? (You might have meant 3 tanks total instead, but I'm going to go with 4 tanks total just to max out the math here). 4 tanks at 14 ounces of concentrate--you're not telling us the percentage concentrate, so I'm going to assume it's 41%. Let us know if not. So that's 14*4*0.41 = 23 (a shade under, but let's run with it) fluid ounces over 2 acres. Ignoring measurement issues and density differences (they really don't matter too much here), let's just call it 1.45 pounds of glyphosate per 2 acres, or 0.7 pounds per acre, near enough. Recommended amounts range from 0.75 pounds per acre to 2 quarts per acre (4 pounds per acre). Most recommendations I can find are closer to 1 pint (1 pound) per acre on dormant Bermuda. So the answer is, assuming the assumptions are correct, and you know what they say about assumptions, that you targeted just about right for glyphosate application and...well, no, you really shouldn't need much more right now, although you do have some leeway even for the conservative estimates. Pure glyphosate, without any other additives, can take quite a while to impact weeds. Particularly in colder, cloudier weather with less sun and more rain. I use it myself in small quantities, and it really can take a very, very long time to show results even in summer. Faster stuff, like Round Up, has other stuff in it that speeds the results. I'm content to wait. Rain the next day was fine. Rain four hours in would have been fine even at those temperatures.

Are you referring to kalanchoe/Bryophyllum gastonis-bonnieri that is commonly called donkey ear plant? They usually grow many little plantlets...many, many plantlets. It is also monocarpic. But you should have plenty of new plants if original dies. Can you post photo?

Another vote for The Wire as best TV show ever, and we have rewatched that, with our DD, when she was in 8th grade or so, but we don’t watch many series, although if we run out of options, I would rewatch The Americans and when I’m old and fully retired, I’d like to watch Better Call Saul and then Breaking Bad so I can compare and contrast what they got right in the prequel. We also rewatched a few seasons of Hill Street Blues and WKRP (I happened on the DVDs in a thrift shop) and they held up remarkably well, considering they are, ahh, of a certain vintage. Growing up reruns were on daily, and I’ve seen every epidose of MASH, Hogan’s Heros, Cheers, Beverly Hillbillies and the like a 100 times over, that’s what happens when the TV was always on, not something I’ve ever wanted to replicate, that’s why I’m a ”one and done” for the most part (The Wire being the notable exception).
