Peach tree borers, how to catch them

yovan mcgregor

They are metallic blue , size of a wasp, no any yellow or orange bands on them. They are attacking = drilling the tips of peach tree twigs. A lot of them zooming like crazy on the top of my 5 feet Empress peach. What ever they do they drill tips of the branches which later die.

How to catch them, I put 4 sticky cartons and did not catch any of them just got many many many flies.

Their "bum" is attached to the body by just one single tiny part like a tiny wire? They are fast, shiny blue.
