Help! Bumps in polyurethane finish on wood floors!!

HU-11614486116

We restored our original white oak wood floors in our historical 1890 home and they looked beautiful! THEN..after much debate on the finishing coat, we decided to use Benjamin Moore water-based Stays Clear polyurethane, which has great reviews. It was recommended to use a smallsmall-nap roller it apply and keep the edge wet, which I did. ThThe first coat was a bit bumpy like orange peel! We scored the floor using a 220 grit pad then sealed it again. Same thing happened, a bit uneven and orange peel. HELP!! Is there a way to finish the last (3rd) coat with a finishing and buffing technique or should I try a different application process? Its It's a satin
