Lodge Complaint United States Postal Service Live Person
Comments (2)Yes, I didn't try that exact number, I don't think, but I got someone who passed me off to the local USPS consumer dept. When I got the live person here in town, they were not helpful. Not even sympathetic to my plight! GGG I ended up writing a letter and sending it to the head of the USPS Board of Governors who oversees postage increases. But then I thought I would also send a copy to my 2 state senators which you can do on an email form -- copy & paste style. I cited that the USPS told the public that is was a nominal rate change, yet on the things I mailed most often, it was over a 200% increase! That I feel they snuck in exhorbitant charges, even though their assigned task is not to make a profit. Comments (87)Hehehehe, got a good laugh over the Honda issue. My Honda has always had electrical problems. Every now and then it just starts beeping and blinking for no good reason. I just turn the radio up louder. OMG I can never get air into tires either, always turn them into pancakes trying. I don't deal with car issues, that's what my dad was for. Course, he's been gone awhile.... Deer ate my purple oxalis last night and raccoons ate all my tomatoes. Why can't they be happy just eating oranges? They don't even have to work at getting the oranges, they are all over the ground. If they don't like my oranges, they can go visit the neighbors. But NO, they have to eat my tomatoes. A friend was here from Canada last weekend. While on our way to go kayaking, we went through a small town that was getting ready for its christmas parade. She about died laughing. Yes, in the south you can watch a christmas parade in your bathing suit. There should be tacky police to fine people who put that huge inflatable Christmas crap in their yards. That should be punishable by the death penalty. One word - underwires. The person who came up with that idea should also be shot. My scooba has become anorexic and quit working. The battery won't hold a charge. I have to mop my own floors. Hate that....See MoreAttention: People Who Complain About Leaves Curling Upward
Comments (22)Over the years...I have seen people lash out with insulting remarks....like some of the above posts. I find it a bit sad. It almost always is a result of that person (or people) wanting to be the "authority" on a given subject. Some folks are just really quick to take offense...and their reaction is to get ugly. Gardening (tomato growing) has many-many variables that lead to differing opinions. That is just the way it is. I find it is best to "move on" from insulting posts....rather than dig in and fight the battle....See MoreCan I just complain about school scheduling?
Comments (29)Arcy-GW, I take your bet; arrange to pay up now. And a quick Google search would have told you that you are completely wrong: https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/science/2017/07/28/solar-eclipse-2017-why-class-canceled-many-south/520578001/ People have been making solar eclipse plans for our state for years--that's years not months. Campgrounds report taking reservations starting over five years ago. (Here's a national news article from 2015 on making plans for the eclipse: https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/destinations/2015/10/17/pick-perfect-spot-view-2017-solar-eclipse/74061326/). Our State has declared a state of emergency for the day. This is a very very big deal. And our district--and many in the state--starts on a Tuesday this year, because of the eclipse. They definitely took it into account when they scheduled. I have no idea why you would think you know more about our local school district and the circumstances in my locale than I do. I asked the school once politely if there is an alternative. Then I came here and asked, specifically, for commiseration. I did not say I plan to make a stink. I did not say I am super important and special and the world should revolve around me. And I certainly did not ask to be lectured by someone who is competely wrong about the facts. Message me your contact information so we can arrange for you to pay me $10,000. (You are also completely ignorant of how school absences are handled in various schools. My children have attended public schools where family holidays are not excused absences and after three unexcused tardies or absences in one school year the family is referred for a truancy process to start.) You really should try to know what you are talking about before you go on an unprovoked rant. You just make yourself look foolish....See MoreIris S (SC, Zone 7b)
