The replacement bird feeder actually isn't new. I bought it and used it last year, but had it in a different location. I didn't get it out this year until last week when the old feeder on my kitchen window was leaking due to a crack in the bottom. But I've always had a feeder on my kitchen window...are those little birds that smart to notice that it is a different feeder than the one I had up earlier last week? The old one was solid red, about 10" tall, with 4 yellow "flowers" to feed from. The current one is a clear globe (kind of shaped like a hot-air balloon). Only the bottom is red, but it still has the 4 yellow flowers to feed from.

pluckymama - thank you! That's so sweet to say, and I always feel I am coming up short compared to others homes and decorating! The tableset and stools are manufactured by "Lorts" and I purchased it from Lexfurniture.com in KY. I first read about them from this website, and I saved $1000's! Lorts didn't have a catalog online, but I found a website that showed all there products. (BeachlersFurniture.com ) However, a local store did carry many of their pieces as well as all the color samples that they do, so I was able to see, feel and decide locally. It's a dark day here in sunny FL and my already dark house is pretty dark. There is a lot of wood - but I am getting use to the set and liking it much better! Definitely the leaf helped.. so I think it's a keeper and we'll remove the leaf on Friday night card games! ( I play with my parents!)

I had this flooring in a home. I loved it. First it needed to be sealed because it can stain if it isnt. The sealant would have made it darker too. Your gut was correct in that the ideal grout color would have been the field color of the tile. If you try to "manually" change your grout color I think you will be opening a can of worms and maintenance for the long haul.
