Wall hung toilet with bidet toilet seat
Comments (11)I have a toto wall hung toilet that is not installed yet. I have Toto Carlyles with one s300 and it is a great washlet. I plan to get a s350 to go with the wall hung. I have seen the duravit wall hung with the Duravit washlet at a local plumbing supply store. It is an expensive combination. I have not seen any reviews of the Duravit washlet so it is hard to judge the performance. The Inax looks a little bulkier on the toilet and not a lot of reviews on it throughout the web. One GW member has the. Inax and raves about it. Although Toto makes its own wall carrier, it is compatible with the Gerberit in wall unit. I think Grohe used to have an in wall unit also. The flush actuators are only compatible with the manufacturers in wall units. One of the flush actuators from Toto was almost $400. I passed on that actuator. Good luck!...See MoreWall mounted toilet - Gerberit tank - which toilet bowl to pick?
Comments (2)I went with the Toto Maris. Very small water spot - don't know if you can tell, but the water level is way down to where it flattens out, but might be something we could adjust? Anyway, we like it. Its comfortable, Sanigloss keeps it very clean. Planning to use the same one in our next remodel! Comments (4)The sole advantage is ease of cleaning and for those who like a modern aesthete, it does read sleeker. However, if you don't like the look and don't mind cleaning around a toilet on the floor, there is no functional reason not to use a traditional toilet mounted on the floor. You should consider getting a skirted model which hides the curlicues and is easier to clean....See MoreHelp us determine what’s missing from the front of our house?
Comments (49)IMO you currently have no way for a visitor to distinguish where the entry is. The large sea of paving created by the drive and turn around or parking spaces vs. the narrow entry tucked between the two building wings gives no clear message of where a visior should enter. The narrow path and archway to the courtyard says to me that it is private space, akin to walking into someone’s back yard uninvited. I would likely follow the drive around the house if I were looking for the front door, assuming that the house was spun 90 degrees with the entry facing right. Bryan Lovely’s second drawing solves this with problem with a clear pathway from the driveway to the entrance, an entry patio, and bright plantings that bring attention to the home entry. While his planting layout doesn’t do much for me, and I think the path should be wider, at least 6’ wide, this general scheme will improve the front entry and make the house far more welcoming than its current front facade. Tiny changes like window trim don’t solve the largest issue of how a first time visitor find the entrance to a home that presents a barricaded appearance....See MoreRaneem Pentney
