I miss Aleene's but also Carol Duvall and all of the craft shows on "The Home and Garden Network" that appeared in the early 2000"s. Before the DVR I taped them and watched them over and over again. I was visiting my cousin the other day and she had her fall decorations out and I admired some pilgrims and she said, "you made those and gave them to me". It took me back to those days. I still love crafts and make an effort to balance work with crafting and art. I know my daughter's generation would watch and enjoy a Craft Network for their creative time with my grandchildren.

marita40, I've seen them at Menard's. But I saw one advertised on TV that looked interesting. It had one that went on the front and the back of the door, and the two "snakes" were fastened together and the cloth ran under the door. That way you wouldn't set it aside when you open the door and have to put it back, it moved with the door and stayed in place all the time. I think it'd be easy to make. Couple chunks of the round pipe insulation and some kind of stiff fabric but if the price was right it could be worth a try.

Katlan, Fireman's wife left after some people here basically called her a liar. Some believed her story some didn't and were very rude to her about it. I don't know if the story was true or not but she had been here awhile before all that happened so I don't see any reason why she would have made it up. If I had been treated that way I would have left too. As a matter of fact I don't post here much or even read here like I used to because of some of the mean people who surfaced around that time. Fine if you don't believe what someone posts here but there is no need to be vicious about it. Just Scroll on by.
