Does Anyone Know The Faucet Cartridge Manufacturer?

Hello,

I have a slow drip in my cold water tap and I need to replace the cartridge. Does anyone know what or who the manufacurer is of this faucet?

I bought this faucet about 10 years ago from Home Depot or Lowes if that helps. Also, I'm pretty sure I purchased a lower end faucet.

When you purchase plumbing fixtures, it's a good idea to save the documentation that comes with the fixture.

Normally I do, but unfortunately this was more like 13 years ago :-/

More depths = more $$$ and more grooves for dirt and grime to accumulate = more hassle to keep clean = PITA after about 6 months = wishing you'd just gone simple in the first place Don't ask me how I know ;-)

Thanks!! actually I found someone to replace the slats. although very expensive at $400 per chair, I'm assuming that it's fair due to all of the detailing that goes into it. I also saw that the owner has a houzz page Montalbano! :) as far as the tags, there were none. I got this set from a Garden Center here in Chicago called City Escape. Although very nice, the owner is dead set against photos being taken in the store or getting privy information regarding vendors. I recently found out through her that the vendor went out of business but I'll never know because she still did not state the name of the manufacturer. This set was rather expensive at full price but I did manage to get it for a couple of hundred on clearance and end of season. The repairs plus purchase is still about 75% cheaper than the original asking price. Thanks again

Lots of stores display the cartridges, hanging in plastic bags. You can probably match it up by eye.

After going into Home Depot and Lowes, they didn't seem to think they had one as they couldn't tell them manufacturer either. They referred me to the local plumbing supply house.

Just a quick update for everyone..... after going to a plumbing warehouse in my area, they indicated there is no way to identify the stem or cartridge without knowing the manufacturer of the faucet as I was told there are 1300 brands out there. As suggested by others including Home Depot, etc, I just purchased a brand new faucet which has the manufacturer label stamped into the faucet which I can reference in the future should I need to replace the stem.
