Marilyn Sue has been a friend of mine for quite some time. I just emailed her and the email was sent back as not deliverable. I found another email address and sent one to that address, hoping it will reach her.

I've been thinking of MarilynSue lately and hope that she is ok and that all is well with her family. Hopefully, Granny's email will reach her and she'll let us know how she is doing.

I just went to her activity and on this past Tuesday, she did 'like' Marilyn C's post about the mare. Maybe she just has limited time online?

As for me, the combination of flu, pneumonia, and bronchitis took its toll on me. I'm back home now, not terribly peppy, have a hired helper. I am using a walker which I don't like much. But--at ninety five and a half I guess I'm doing pretty well.

No, I can't remember the name of the other "oldster" who has posted here.

As to the stories--I did post one about ironing recently. I have others in my head-just need to get them down on paper (or on the computer).

For a couple of years I've been inviting two friends to come on Sunday night for a Netflix movie. One of them fell recently and broke a hip. She is still in rehab but I hope will be back before too long. Such is life in an "Independent living facility."

Seniorgal, I'm glad your back home. Of course you won't have much pep right now you've just been thru a bad time. You get as much rest as possible. Its the best thing for you right now. I'm looking forward to reading your new story but wait until your energy starts to return more before writing it all. When I turned 50 someone gave me a birthday card that featured a castle that defended by knights in armor. The message was, "The Middle Ages are not for sissies." I thought it was droll and amusing...then. Now, at 77, I understand why there are no amusing cards about the 'Ages' after 75. This looks more like WWII, viewed from *my* foxhole.
