The kitchen island is delacatus white, Wolff stainless steel appliances. There is a door from kitchen w windows that leads to outside- should that area be trimmed in sw site white (and door also) interior doors and trim need paint). There is a column that separated the family room which is a vaulted 2-story space. If possible, I’d prefer to start using white trim/doors/windows in this area and rest of house. What’s another option for wall color in both/entire space—Dorian gray or amazing gray?

Have you already started renting out your property? Look at some photos of competing properties to see what decor they have. When you market the property, you need to have the key areas look fabulous in photos. Look at some recent local wedding photographers' websites for typical photos. A dressing room will be used as a photo backdrop for brides and bridesmaids getting ready. If you have streaming netflix, try watching the episode of "Stay Here" where a Paso Robles cottage is redecorated for wedding parties. Will your budget at this point cover just paint and a few extras? Do you have a three-way, full length mirror? A place to hang the wedding dress and bridesmaids' dresses?

I have a living room that measures 17 x 24. There are 2 windows to the north, a bay window to the east and a window to the south. We live in a cold climate so we are getting carpeting that is cream and taupe color. My adjoining dining room is a warm green with a tile floor that has shades of browns, taupe and hint of black. I also have oak woodwork. My curtains are cream with a beige/taupe design in them. They are pretty new so don't really want to change them

Whoa! Yikes! Thank you for pointing that out Marylee. So Pearl grey has a green tone to it which could change to blue. My chair is chartreuse with a bronze and black and cream ottoman. I’m so confused because now with the kitchen and the living room this color I feel like that’s a lot of effort and my husband will likely say —the walls are already gray, and you want to paint it this gray now? Maybe SW Navajo Cream or something like that would be better? I also feel like having the chimney or fireplace area being the same Pearl Gray seems like a waste. I get that since you open the front door you see that whole open space but I don’t think my mind would mind stopping on a pretty color!! though when I had my husband take the color ID test he came up as Nurturer. I was Creative.
