Concerns with Adorne Under cabinet outlets and lighting

DDD

I naively agreed to Adorne Under the cabinet system (outlets and lighting) without exploring options because I liked the appeal of not having 5 cutouts on my backspash and my husband liked the modern, modular concept. I must confess that I did not do my research because I had no idea electrical/lighting was so complicated and I was overwhelmed by other unexpected events in my kitchen project. It is partially installed and I'm panicked that I made a poor choice. I did not realize that they screwed through the bottom shelf of the cabinet. Although they are invisible with the trim, I hate the power strip style when I look at them. Although I checked with electrician (and town inspector), I'm concerned that in the future they won't be accepted if I were to sell or if a new electrician needed to do work. Advice? Experience? My cabinets and counter is in so rewiring now would be tricky and expensive, but I really wish I knew more.
