Cheri....here's another idea. It gives you potentially 6 Prep Zones or 5 Prep Zones + Cleanup Zone. It does have 3 sinks, but by forcing an island in this space, you need it if you want the peninsula to be useful as prep space. Since this is a beach house and you said there will frequently be multiple cooks, this seemed the best use of space. The island, however, is smaller than in any of your layouts. To be blunt, you did not have wide enough aisles around the island in your layouts to make it useful - in fact at that size with such narrow aisles, it would be an annoying obstacle & hindrance rather than a help. Despite its reduced size, it will still be useful since now there should be sufficient aisle widths to accommodate multiple people. . The lower counter is to the left of the range top -- 38" worth of it (35" cabinet space + 3" b/w that cabinet & the corner on the left). This should give you plenty of workspace at the lower height. Note there is 15" of emergency landing space immediately adjacent to the range top on the left and then the lower counter starts. That 15" should be sufficient for emergencies since there is plenty of space to the right of the range top. . Both the wine cooler/refrigerator and the MW drawer are in a 52+" Snack/Beverage/Coffee/Tea Center. You can easily fit a coffeemaker in that space and with the 3rd sink in the peninsula, water is close by if the coffeemaker is not plumbed. This will keep casual traffic - someone getting a cup of coffee or a glass of wine or even a quick snack - out of the primary work zones and out from underfoot. The refrigerator is nearby as well. . The ovens have been moved closer to the center of that run so they do not open into a person sitting at the end of the peninsula. In addition, there is now landing space on each side of the ovens as well as across the aisle on the island, if necessary. This is a much safer and functional location! . There are two trash pullouts. The 21" to the right of the cleanup sink is accessible from the Cleanup Zone, Cooking Zone, and Prep Zones on that side of the island & range top. The 18" one is on the peninsula for access not only on that side of the island and range top but also for the Snack/Beverage Center and other outsiders who want to throw something away. . When you say "nothing in the kitchen now", does that mean it has been gutted?● yes, it is all gutted. Presumably there was a kitchen there before. What are your limitations as far as plumbing and gas? ● plumbimg can be remove around no problem, no gas, I use IH stove. Can they be moved? ●yes, they can. Are there any windows in the kitchen? ● No, there is no window and it won't make any sense to open one, because it's just brick wall outside. If not, is it possible to add windows? Have you ever used a desk in the kitchen before? ●no, I never have kitchen table and I don't think I will use it often. How do you see yourself using a desk in that space?● I think I just need a computer desk not breakfast table. we use island more How much pantry space do you need? ● the more the better, I have a lots kitchen stuff. When you say "I spend a lot of time in the kitchen", does that mean cooking from scratch? ● cooking, baking, everything from scratch. Baking? Canning? Entertaining a lot of guests? ● not too often host big group, but friends and family do drop by sometimes. Each activity has its own needs.

4 seats = 8' peninsula. Are 4 necessary?
